Promethean Particles announces the appointment of Owen Cartmell as Engineering Manager.
Owen has more than 10 years’ experience working in the chemical industry. Prior to joining Promethean, he worked in the fast-moving consumer goods (“FMCG”) and speciality chemicals sectors for both Reckitt Benckiser and Thermo Fisher Scientific. During his time at Reckitt Benckiser, Owen held several roles, including Project Manager and Production Engineer. While at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Owen worked as Team Leader of a chemical manufacturing plant, where he had the day-to-day responsibility for the safe and reliable operations and managed a team of skilled chemical process operators.
Owen holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering and a BSc in Chemistry, both obtained from the University of Leeds. In addition, he is an Associate Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, and is currently working towards Chartership.
